Vide

Has a daycenter, here you can sleep with 2 persons around 25 euros per room and 20 euros for a 1 person room. There is also a 4 person room, which I see suitable for 2 people. The cost are around 20 euros per night.
You can then lunch for 7 euros per person, this a NOT vegetarian hot food, usually soup, hot meals, including dessert and water or wine (during training is not recommended to drink alcohol). Breakfast costs 3 euros.
If you wish to use one of these rooms, you can contact to Ingrid Kropf, I have contact with the daycenter. Payments for the rooms you arrange with the daycenter itself, I only mediate, due to prevent language problems. The daycenter has also wireless internet.

camping

You can contact us to stay with a tent at our property, but there is no bathroom nor toilet available. You can organise this with the daycenter in Vide, they do charge a fee, you also can make arrangements for a lunch, breakfast. By contacting us. This is in agreement with Ingrid. So no really easy solution, but for people who do not mind 300 meter walk to a toilet and the shower there is an option. I expect that the costs are some euros per night per person.

In Ponte des tres entradas, is a camping. Approximately a 20 minutes drive. They speak Dutch, so it is easy to organise your stay there, also English is well spoken. On the camping is wireless internet, reasonable toilets, showers, a cafe and a shop (with all first needs) within walking distance is the Avoco river where you can swim. Bed and Breakfast

There is a cozy Bed and Breakfast in Pontes des tres entradas. It is managed by a Dutch woman Ingrid Punter, who speaks english too. You can appeal for an apartment or a room (price 35-20 euros per night), with a kitchen, an option for people who want to cook. It is approximately a 17 km drive along the beautiful winding road. Another bed and breakfast is in Parente about half from the previous bed and breakfast, here is a swimming pool and is more luxurious. Prices around 75 euros per apartment per night. Information can found at quintadopinheiromanso.

For all accommodation listed here, you make your arrangement yourself. It is useful to reverate to us. Tell us where you are. So we know who is where and can reache you in case of. 

Nutrition

Vide has two shops, where you can buy fresh vegetables, sandwiches. All simple, such as white bread and tomatoes and lettuce. Do you want more exclusive things, there are several shops in Oliveira do Hospital (30 minutes drive) or Seia (same distance other direction). 
The stores in Vide are open daily, closed between 12 and 14 hours. Same times for all small shops in towns and cities. Portuguese lunch is like 'our' dinner all shops are closed then. They are open in the evening often up to 19.00 o'clock.

In Bariossa is an exclusive restaurant, with Dutch prices. About 7 kilometer away from Vide.

In Ponte des tres entradas is a very simple restaurant, which provided a dinner for 7-9 euros. This is always (much) meat (a small Portuguese dictionary is required to order your food).

There are more dining options to think of, like the Dutch Quinta da Geia (also english spoken), where you can stay, about a half hour drive. Look at quintadageia. This bed and breakfast includes a good restaurant and is located in Aldeia das dez, another 10-15 minutes beyond Endradas tres das Pontes.

Coffee, Drinks
If you are a coffee drinker, it's very nice to drink coffee in the local pub. You can buy coffee there, a pica (espresso) or café (regular coffee) or a gallão (café with a lot of milk), cola, orange and red wine, or port is an option. And from our view good priced.
