Artclay silver
A week working with artclay silver and arrive at home with beautiful jewelry.In the beautiful surroundings, with a river, trees, a source, citrus trees and warm weather. And being creative. A wonderful vacation while you're creative.
The week is designed as follows.
The first part of the day you try to find your form. To get there we walk in the neighborhood, searching for beautiful little objectjes you want as inspiration. Then we start to work with the materials.
The result is an a silver pendant leaf or flower, as example.
Next day we make a ring.
You have choise between different materials, artclay silver or copper or bronze.
Middle of the week is a break, to get inspired.
We then look at legendary rock and we will find crystals. These crystals will be the basis for a new item of jewelry in silver, copper or bronze.
Thursday you make the design and you start with your next piece. A jewelry or ritual object. You can think of a silver kettle with decoration (Wiccan's), a ritual knife for your herbs, your totem in a ring, brooch or pendant, your chart (if you have the drawing with you) and stone(s) added.
Friday is the day to finish it all and you can even make an ornament or an object.
At the end of the week you have 2 rings, a pendant and a brooch. Or you choose a free form, described as a ritual object.

€ 500, (with a non-refundable registration fee € 150,-, after confirming for the start of the week the remaining amount of € 350,- needs to be transferred). The nice thing about Artclay silver, at home you can work easy with it. Artclay can finished in a stove! So the only investment is the clay itself. By Ingrid you can order the next materials easily.
The week included 50 grams of artclay silver, you can get into various substances, for example 30 grams clay, 10 grams paste and 10 grams string clay. All these are fine silver, with a 99% silver content. Artclay is baked in an oven or a stove and then change into a solid silver jewelry / object. Artclay is recycled silver from the industry and is made in Japan. Other items you purchase during the week, to think of gemstones, bronze, clay and paste syringe. Generally you will have enough clay to 50 grams for the whole week. In a simple small ring is made out of 7 grams clay.
There is more silver for sale and starter packs, so you can continue to work at home. After this week you control several techniques to work at home with artclay silver and copper. Silverwork is now within reach of everyone.
Ingrid has worked 10 years with silver and glass. An is a teacher for years. Work by Ingrid can be found on the website ingrid. Allow her and the wonderful place to inspire you to find your own shape/form. The aim is also to get British interest in this week and Dutch. So you can establish contacts with other international silver / creators.
One possibility is to engage with Hieroglyphs, totems, or develop your own horoscope with precious stones (bring along your horoscope!), Animals, flowers, symbols, the possibilities are unlimited.
Or make that beautiful button on your cupboard, doors etc. Or would you prefer a fountain of bronze (small sized).
The options depend on your skills, discuss your ideas before you register with Ingrid. To prevent that you get disappointed at the end of the week about the idea you are able to make. Remember that relaxation is important this week, along with creative meeting with artclay silver and find your form.
During your creative work you are offered coffee and teas with a treat.
We take lunch in the daycenter of Vide, where a simple portugues meal is offered.
We have breakfast together at 9 o'clock. Do you have special dietary needs, then it is best to bring these products with you. We eat simple, fresh bread, tea, coffee, sweet toppings, cheese.
Dinner is yours to decide, see the button logies and food. There are possibilities to barbeque, or go out for a dinner elsewhere.
